Living It Up Down Under
Pubs such as the Eulo Hotel (where I will be doing a residency soon) are an integral part of the Outback lifestyle in Australia. In many remote and rural areas, the local pub often serves as a social hub where community members gather for meals, drinks, and events. Beyond their role as places to socialise and unwind, outback pubs frequently serve as venues for local meetings and celebrations, and provide accommodation or essential services to travellers. They contribute significantly to the social fabric and identity of outback communities.

This is a block of land dedicated to creating murals and installations. I call these emus the Emma Street Emus.
The Pelican doesn't rest very often in Cunnamulla. These were painted at my holiday locale in Golden Beach on the North Coast.
When pelicans do fly here and land on the Warrego it usually means rain is coming.
The Whistling Kite
(Haliastur sphenurus) is a common bird of prey frequently spotted around the Cunnamulla region. You can easily find these medium-sized raptors hunting, scavenging, or patrolling the skies.
